Thomas Harte, President

As the president and founder of Landmark Benefits, Tom has built one of the most successful employee benefit companies in New Hampshire with a focus on contributions to the industry, charity, and community.  As a result, Landmark provides employee benefit services to over 300 corporations and thousands of employees.

In addition to his role at Landmark Benefits, Tom is the national president of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).  In all of his leadership roles within NAHU, he has consistently promoted the importance of reducing the cost of health insurance with a deliberate focus on improving the health of the employees and increasing the transparency of the cost of health care services.

In addition to his contributions to NAHU, one of Tom’s greatest contributions has been to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Hampshire.  The events hosted by Tom and his Company have resulted in contributions to Make-A-Wish in excess of $600,000.

Julie Hamilton, Director of Account Management

Julie joined Landmark Benefits in 2006 and works closely with Landmark’s key accounts and new business prospects. She acts as their advocate with insurance carriers to assist with all aspects of the renewal process, claim resolution, invoice adjustments, and contract amendments.  She specializes in working closely with clients throughout the renewal process and provides seamless implementation of enrollments for all lines of coverage.

Prior to joining Landmark, Julie held several key senior management positions in privately held companies after graduating with a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.

Barbara Foley, Office Manager/HRA Administration

Barbara has been with Landmark since 2003. Barbara currently holds a position as Office Manager at Landmark Benefits.  She also works closely with our clients to create Summary Plan Documents to ensure compliance guidelines are met.  In addition, Barbara also administers Health Reimbursement Accounts.  Her ability to personalize service to our clients makes her an effective communicator who ensures clients’ expectations are continuously met and exceeded.

Prior to working at Landmark Benefits, Barbara had worked many years in the accounts payables and receivables fields. She has over 20 years’ experience in the administration field.

Laura Noonan, Marketing and Development Manager

Laura works closely with the wellness department in creating and designing materials for the programs. She also manages the annual Landmark Benefit Golf Tournament and Holiday Gala to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of NH.

Prior to joining Landmark, Laura attended Stonehill College, where she received her B.A. in Marketing. While at Stonehill, Laura played on the volleyball team for the Skyhawks.

Melanie Despres, Account Support Manager

Melanie works closely with key accounts and assists with enrollments, claim resolution, invoice adjustments, specialized auditing, as well as renewal preparations. She is also responsible for the maintenance of census data.

Prior to joining Landmark, Melanie worked in Florida as an HR Administrator for a large franchise. Melanie has over 25 years of benefits, administrative, and sales experience in the industry.

Katie Roemer, Client Services Manager

Katie joined Landmark Benefits in 2012. She assists with COBRA administration and also processes enrollments and terminations for Landmark clients.  Katie has over 20 years of customer service experience.

Prior to joining the Landmark team, Katie worked for a local construction company as an operations coordinator.   When she is not at work, Katie coaches softball and volleyball and spends time with her husband and two children.

Zandra Faulkner, Benefits Assistant

Zandra joined Landmark in the spring of 2015. She assists in processing enrollments, terminations, and COBRA for Landmark clients. Zandra has over 15 years of experience in the administrative field.

Prior to joining Landmark, Zandra graduated with a B.S. from Wentworth Institute of Technology. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and working on home projects.

Samantha Sage, Benefits Coordinator

Samantha is the voice on the other end of the line when you call Landmark Benefits. She provides administrative support to the entire staff.  She also assists Tom with his schedule and travel.

Prior to joining Landmark, Samantha was a stay at home mom who home schooled her children for over 17 years.

Todd Hanssen, Wellness Director

In Todd’s role as Landmark’s wellness director, his primary goal is to improve the health and wellness of employees. He runs customized wellness programs based on their unique corporate culture. His passion for health and wellness, paired with his attention to detail, have enabled him to successfully implement programs that directly impact the bottom line.

Prior to joining Landmark, Todd received his national and international personal training certificate from the American Council on Exercise as well as a certificate in Sports Nutrition. He started his own personal training business and has been motivating people to engage in healthy lifestyles for over 10 years.

Tina Watson, Wellness Coordinator

Tina works closely with the Wellness Director in creating, designing and implementing wellness programs for clients. She also assists with the client correspondence and data management of the wellness programs.

Prior to joining Landmark Benefits, Tina worked in Human Resources for Filene’s Corporate.
